ECAP BioEnergy, LLC Board Members
David Vogt, Chairman
As Chairman of ECAP BioEnergy, LLC, David leads the company’s efforts to explore new opportunities for engineered solid renewable fuel. David is also the President and Executive Director of ECAP, LLC, and he has been a board member of the company since its founding in 2001. He has also served as President of Laddonia, MO–based POET Biorefining, of which ECAP LLC owns a majority stake, since its formation in 2005.
A graduate of Missouri State University, where he earned a B.S. in finance, David has worked in the agriculture industry since 1994. He is a certified crop adviser, and he has spent much of his career making seed, chemical, and fertilizer recommendations to farmers in northeast Missouri. David co-founded the Missouri Renewable Fuels Association in 2006 along with several other Missouri ethanol plant presidents and the Missouri Corn Growers Association.
David resides on a small farm north of Mexico, MO with his wife, Michelle, and his daughter, Lydia. He was part of the family farming operation until 2010, though he still helps out when time allows. David’s hobbies include hunting, boating, and golfing.
